Changes[]

  • Zachary Cartoon Studios would've been originally known as ZacharyToons Studios (1952-1972), Adzido Animation Studios (1972-1985), and Zachary Cartoon Studios (1985-present).
    • It would have an original founder: Zachary Adzido (TBD-2002). He would be CEO until his retirement in TBD.
    • However, he still gave input for ideas within Zachary Cartoon Studios until his death in 2002.
  • Fujisan Pictures would make more short films, with their cartoon characters such as Zoni Starly being still owned by them and used in current media.
  • Zoni Starly would've been the official mascot of Zachary Cartoon Studios and it's parent company, Fujisan.
    • While Zoni Starly and Hamtaro would be the studio's mascot from the 1950s to the present day, he would be later accompanied by Naomi Nobody and Bijou in 1978. Ato and Boss joined the mascot roster in 1995. Wubbzy and Daizy joined the mascot roster in 2005. Snowy the Polar Bear joined the mascot roster in 2009.
  • Some of the staff of Fujisan would work on various projects outside of the studio.
  • As a production studio, Zoni Channel would've been known as Zoni Channel Productions.
    • Zoni Channel would've began producing original animated series in 1992.
  • Viacom and Universal would acquire Zachary Cartoon Studios in 1989 and the rights to the Zacharytoons library would be owned by Fujisan and NBCUniversal until then.
  • Zachary Cartoon Studios would have its own animated cartoon short series named Zacharytoons. It would be a competitor to the short series and anthologies of the Golden Age of Animation, which would run from TBD to TBD.
    • Characters from Equestria Girls, Canimals, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, and TBD would first appear in the TBD series.
      • Zoni Starly would be the first Canadian anime.
    • They would be created with the help of animators like Bob Clampett, Tex Avery and Chuck Jones.
    • The Zacharytoons characters would appear in Who Framed Roger Rabbit at Marvin Acme's funeral, meaning that the scene would make it into the final film.
  • Associated Artists Productions would acquire the Zachary Cartoon Studios library in 1956 and the television rights to the Zacharytoons library, and would later merge to United Artists in 1958, and later Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1982, then Gulf+Western in 1986, and finally Fujisan and Universal in 1994.
  • Zoni Channel would later be mostly known for both its classic animated series such as TBD, TBD, etc. and its adult animated sitcoms with crude humor since TBD.
  • Fujisan Pictures would have had an association with TBD since the 40's.
    • However, Zachary was briefly associated with TBD in the 50's, then went back to TBD.
    • TBD had been airing the Zacharytoons since TBD, and stopped in TBD due to the channel's partnership with Studio B Productions for TBD.
  • Fujisan would kept pre-TBD and pre-TBD Fujisan short subject libraries instead of selling it to other companies.
  • Fujisan Animation would be founded in 1961 instead of the 2010's.
    • Fujisan Pictures would preserve Fujisan Cartoon Studios shorts (including Zoni Starly) for HD scans and future 4K restorations.
  • Fujisan would keep Zacharytoons cartoons instead of selling it to another company.
  • Fujisan would keep TBD–TBD Fujisan Pictures Library instead of selling it to another company.
    • Fujsian's version of EMKA Ltd. wouldn't exist.
  • Fujisan would keep the rights to the Zacharytoons characters after TBD.
    • Fujisan would keep post-TBD and pre-TBD TBD/Fujisan Cartoon Studios library instead of selling it to another company.
  • Zoni Starly would be still mascot of Fujisan Pictures.
  • Zachary Cartoon Studios would have a division dedicated to the production of adult animation called The City High School. It was formerly named as Zoni Starly Industries (TBD-TBD).
  • Spies in Disguise would be produced in 1995 as a traditionally hand-drawn animated film. It was one of Fujisan Pictures' highest-grossing animated movies.
    • This AU version of Spies in Disguise would be rated G, and the uncut version would be rated PG.
    • It had a hybrid remake in 2019.
  • Fujisan Hotels & Resorts would open in 2017, replacing the Nickelodeon Suites Resort.
  • TBD would air some adult animation from Fujisan Animation. It would air TBD in 1999, TBD in 2001, TBD in 2004, and TBD in 2005.
  • In 1994, Zachary Cartoon Studios was taken over by Zachary Adzido, and TBD, deemed "TBD".
  • Some of Nickelodeon's live-action shows will air on Zoni Channel instead of Nickelodeon, or simply not exist.
  • The Wacky Adventures or Ronald McDonald would be co-produced with Klasky-Csupo, Fujisan Television, and Zachary Cartoon Studios. It would also air on Zoni Channel instead of being direct-to-video.
  • The Zoni Channel split-screen credits would still be used, including the closing logos with the generic themes (similar to the major US networks) which have the remixes of the TBD theme.
  • Canimals, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy, HiHi Puffy AmiYumi, and The Loud House would be considered Zoni Channel's top-rated shows. Canimals would be the SpongeBob SquarePants of Zoni Channel, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! would be The Fairly OddParents of Zoni Channel, and HiHi Puffy AmiYumi would be the Doug of Zoni Channel. but C, WWW, and HHPAY would come out a year after said Nickelodeon shows.
    • Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! would be on Zoni Channel from 2002-2018 instead of Nick Jr./Noggin from 2006-2014.
    • The PBS AU scenario of a show getting a prototype "rip-off" would be in effect.
  • Despite the series not existing in Shucayb Karie's AU, Teen Titans Go! will exist in this AU, only to end after Teen Titans Go! To The Movies and Girls Night In. The rest of the episodes (excluding The Viewers Decide) would be written as episodes for a show called Toyland Cartoons.
    • Video Briquendo would never exist, instead a show named "Toyland Cartoons" would take their productions' places. The series would run from 1995-present.
  • The Official BBC Children in Need Medley would have changes:
    • The short would become a predated version of Walt Disney Animation Studios' Once Upon a Studio, which would be called Once Upon a Fundraiser (most versions retitled as Zoni Starly and Roary the Racing Car; Children in Need 30th Anniversary), but don't make it a shameless ripoff of Once Upon a Studio promoting a British childhood in the 2000's.
    • The short would get delayed to Children in Need 2010, hence the 30th Anniversary in the title.
    • The short is a labor of love for Sky UK, Virgin Media, Freeview, Fujisan, Zachary Cartoon Studios, Zoni Channel, Framegraphics, and Nintendo (Keroro Frog-only).
  • Horrid Henry would have changes:
    • The series would be made by Framegraphics, with TBD providing the dub for Nickelodeon, since Horrid Henry would've been picked up by Nickelodeon (both UK & Ireland and USA) instead of ITV.
  • The Loud House would have changes:
    • The series is instead made by Paul Rudish due to the success of Mickey Mouse (2013).
    • The Loud House Movie would be a prequel to the series and it would have changes:
      • Lincoln's Sisters would go of the deep end and intentionally torment Lincoln as they think he'll be the cause of why they'll lose their fame and money in the future.
      • Morag isntead has a better plan: Deceive the Loud Sisters into kidnapping Lela and sell the citizens' voices for bags of money.
    • How to fix the episodes:
      • Brawl in the Family:
        • The episode follows a similar plot to "Sock Burglar" from Mickey Mouse and "A Very Special Blossom" from The Powerpuff Girls (1998), as Lincoln teaches his sisters a lesson by stealing Lori and Leni's new dresses, only for the two to start an immature wild goose chase.
        • The episode is now retitled "TBD"
      • No Such Luck:
        • Lincoln is instead accused of being a warlock, but no one believes Lynn because the show doesn't take place in Massachusetts. The title of the episode is now "Easy Bake Coven".
        • Lynn gets her karma in the end when Lincoln "confesses" of being a warlock.
  • Sea Princesses would have changes:
    • The series is now an anime for Cartoon Network made by Hanna-Barbera Studios Japan, unlike OTL's Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island, it isn't made to compete with SpongeBob SquarePants.
    • The series would run longer to resolve the plot's cliffhanger.
  • Sesame Street (Seasons 33-37, 40-present, which are the series' downfalls) would have changes:
    • Give the seasons better pacing.
    • Give some of the later seasons better creativity and quality control.
    • Make the characters undergo some development.
    • Don't make some of the new characters annoying, pointless, idiotic, obnoxious, dull, or bland.
    • Don't have the later seasons overuse Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Murray, and Zoe.
    • Have some of the characters keep their original personalities instead of flanderizing them.
    • Make Zoe, Baby Bear, Murray, and Abby more likable and give them better personalities.
    • Give Abby a reason as to why she exists other than to be a "prominent and relatable role model" for little girls.
    • Give the show better sketches.
    • The show would accept animation studios like TMS Entertainment and Wang Film.
    • Don't make Elmo & Tango's Mysterious Mysteries a rip-off of Busytown Mysteries and Archie's Weird Mysteries.
    • Don't have the characters forget their lessons.
    • Don't have most of the cast be reduced to side characters in the later seasons.
    • Give the seasons better episodes.
    • Get rid of all the gross-out humor that doesn't involve Oscar the Grouch.
    • Don't have Elmo's Potty Time be littered with so much toilet humor.
    • Have the seasons keep some of the older sketches instead of removing them completely.
    • Don't make some of the songs annoying.
    • Give the seasons and segments better morals.
    • Don't make the color scheme overly bright.
    • Improve the voice acting.
    • Get rid of some of the inappropriate moments, such as the hairless tiger taking a bath in the Journey to Ernie segment "Jungle".
    • Don't have the show try to be hip with the kids in its later seasons.
    • "Play with Me Sesame" is instead a denser and wackier spinoff of Sesame Street and would be rated TV-Y7.
    • Don't make the segment Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures cartoonish by using regular stop-motion animation instead of squash-and-stretch clay animation.
    • Don't give the show mean-spirited moments.
    • Get rid of Baby Bear's little sister Curly Bear, because she serves little to no purpose in the show.
    • Don't have the Fix-It Shop be replaced by the Mail-It Shop in Seasons 33-36.
    • Don't have the show change its format entirely in Seasons 40-45.
    • Don't make Murray Monster a annoying character and give him a better voice. In addition, have him speak in a normal indoor voice instead of screaming and yelling all the time, and don't have him host the show during Seasons 38-45. Instead, have him be a side character who usually makes background cameos.
    • Have another Muppet like Big Bird or Cookie Monster host the show during Seasons 38-45 instead of Murray and Ovejita.
    • Don't make some of the segments lethargic.
    • Don't have the show scale back its parental bonuses.
    • Don't give the show political correctness.
    • Remove Elmo from the Follow That Bird DVD cover from 2009, since he made a brief cameo.
      • Speaking of which, another muppet character appears on the said cover instead of Elmo.
    • Have the show focus more on the older, more mature Muppets like Big Bird and the Count, and have the younger Muppets such as Zoe, Baby Bear, Abby Cadabby, and Elmo be portrayed as supporting characters.
    • Speaking of Elmo, don't have him be milked so much for merchandising.
    • Monster Clubhouse, Hero Guy and Elmo's World wouldn't exist. The formers are replaced by animated segments: Rock On Galaxy and [Emperor penguin superhero segment that takes place in the Arctic] and the latter is instead be written as a Super Milk Chan spinoff because it's a pointless excuse for Elmo to be the main character of Sesame Street. Instead an animated Big Bird-focused segment called Big Bird's Adventures would take its spot, thus replacing Om Nom Stories (Season 15-17: Nibble Nom and Season 20-26: New Neighbors).
      • Plot for Big Bird's Adventures: One day, Big Bird and his aunt Nani Bird are having a reunion party, when a stork drops a package containing Big Bird's new adorable, yet mischievous and troublemaking baby sister named TBD whose outrageous fantasies often put Nani Bird at the forefront.
        • Plot between "Bird Olympics" and "No Tears": Nani Bird and Big Bird move into a neighborhood featuring various new and eccentric characters. Even away from Hawaii, the Birds aren't safe from being caught up in numerous comical and often absurd escapades and predicaments.
      • Most of the characters of the source material (and Om Nom Stories) would appear as puppets, but different species in animated form:
        • For Rock On Galaxy (the AU counterpart of Starfire's Galaxy arc from Teen Titans Go! replacing Sonic Underground):
        • Starfire - A girl named Nova
        • Freak - A merman named TBD
        • Tooth Fairy (ta-ta-ra-ta-ta!) - TBD
        • 50% Chad - TBD

History[]

Zachary Adzido era and origins of Fujisan Pictures (1952-1986)[]

In the late 1930s, Zachary Adzido saw Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in theaters. This prompted Azdido to start his own animation studio. and he created a boy named Zoni Starly, a jolly hero from Canterlot City, her girlfriend named Naomi Nobody, Wubbzy, a fun-loving gerbil, Ato, a energetic beagle in a can, and Snowy, a polar bear ready for adventure and food. After negotiations with several companies at the time, he reached a distribution agreement with Republic Pictures.

1949: Creation of Zacharytoons[]

In 1940, Adzido signed a long-term distribution contract with Republic Pictures and established Zacharytoons.

1993-2005: The takeover era[]

First part (1993-1996)[]

In August 1994, an announcement was made regarding Zachary Adzido (the founder of Zachary Cartoon Studios and Fujisan Pictures) proposing to sell his roles in the Zachary Cartoon Studios headquarters to entertainment figures Zachary Adzido, TBD, and TBD due to Viacom’s acquisition of Paramount Communications that year. On TBD, Zachary Adzido resigned from the studio, and a day later "TBD" officially announced their entrance into the studio.

Zachary Cartoon Studios had new traditional animators working for their animation department, and the computer animators worked on CGI films.

The rise of computer animation (2001-2005)[]

In TBD 2002, Zachary Adzido passed away at the age of TBD,

Due to the success of computer-animated films, Zachary Cartoon Studios decided in 2001 to focus on both hand-drawn animation and CGI animation. Around the same time, Zachary Cartoon Studios was struggling to compete with the rising CGI animation, which was causing a decline of demand for hand-drawn animation. However, their 2003 computer-animated film TBD was a commercial and critical success.
